Contracted to deliver Self Employment Program
Alberta Human Resources and Employment contracts execuserv plus inc. to deliver a training program to Albertans who are unemployed and wish to start businesses of their own. Some of the highlights of the program include:
- Facilitate access to program funding
If you are receiving Employment Insurance (EI) benefits, you should continue to receive that funding regardless of the amount of income earned by your business, for up to 26 weeks. You may also be eligible for additional financial assistance if your EI funding is insufficient and/or will expire prior to the end of the program duration of 26 weeks.
The execuserv plus inc. team will assist you in working with Alberta Human Resources and Employment to ensure that you receive the maximum funding possible for your 26 week period.
- Provide a positive setting for adult business coaching
The execuserv plus inc. team understands that it isn't always easy to "go back to school" after you've been in the work force. In every session of our training program, you will find the environment to be accepting and nonjudgmental. Our program respects the life experience and diverse backgrounds brought to our program by our clients.
- Present experienced facilitators to teach you
Many of our training sessions are conducted by entrepreneurs who themselves have experienced the challenge of starting a business in this marketplace. In addition, members of the business community are made available to provide insight and advice to participants in the program.
- Build positive confident entrepreneurs
At execuserv plus inc., we strive to build confidence and reduce the fear associated with starting a business. Our training program is designed to build our clients' "Entrepreneurial I.Q." and to give them the self-assurance they need to take calculated risks that will secure their success in their businesses.
- Support you through the program and beyond
After the classroom sessions are completed, participants are required to get their business started. Follow-up and ongoing support is provided throughout the training and beyond with peer support, one-on-one business consultations, networking sessions and workshops.
